Your Files
Files you choose in any RowSlice tool are processed entirely inside your web browser on your own device. They are never uploaded to RowSlice or to any third party, and we cannot see their contents, names or sizes.
While a tool runs, results are stored in your browser's private storage area for this website (the Origin Private File System) on your own disk, so that large results can be downloaded. Only this website, in your browser, can access that storage. Results are removed when you start a new job, and results left behind are removed automatically after six hours the next time you use a tool. You can also remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Information Collected When You Visit
The website is delivered by a hosting and content delivery provider. Like almost every website host, it processes technical information needed to deliver pages and protect against abuse, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This information is not combined with any other data about you.
RowSlice counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page visited, the site that linked to it, your country, your browser and device type, and how long the page took to load. It never receives the files you choose in a tool, their names, or anything about what is in them.
RowSlice also uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It records the pages you visit, the site that linked to them, your approximate location, your browser and device type, and interactions such as scrolling and clicks on links to other sites. To tell visits apart, it sets first-party cookies (named _ga) on your device. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses, and it never receives the files you choose in a tool, their names, or anything about what is in them. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets no cookies, and Google receives only measurements that carry no cookie identifier. Anyone can stop Google Analytics from measuring their visits with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking or deleting cookies in their browser's settings. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
RowSlice does not currently use advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it happens.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your email with anyone.
Children
RowSlice is a tool for working with data files and is not directed at children under 13.
